Passionate about the environment and from a farming background, country sports especially fishing and shooting have been my passion for over 45 years.

My experience has ranged from chasing the odd wild pheasant and rabbit around the Cumbrian hills, red and roe deer stalking in the UK, wild boar shooting in France, turkey hunting in the US, doves in Argentina and South Africa and driven game on some of the best shoots in the country.

My passion for shooting took me to new heights. Beginning by assisting new shooters in the field, I found I had the patience and skills to take further and complete the Association of Professional Shooting Instructors (APSI) coaching course to become a qualified instructor. Fast forward 12 years, I was awarded Fellowship of the APSI in 2016.

I have organised and hosted many shooting days, where I oversee let days delivering briefings, placing guns on pegs, and offering advice making sure the day runs smoothly. I continue my coaching passion both freelance and via Park Lodge Shooting School, which was awarded Premier Plus status for a shooting school and put the North of England truly on the map. Also, working for Erik Aaron Shooting on corporate days.
